Comedy Club Night & Meal

Food quite poor but the entertainment was good

Staff were not informed that we had one vegan guest and therefore had no meal for her. I was also under the impression we got two courses, but on the night we were only given one and had to pay for the dessert. Also Chillisauce informed us the venue opened at 6.30 but it doesn't open until 7 so we were left in the cold for half an hour

The 1 star rating has nothing to do with the comedians they deserve a 5 star rating and really enjoyed the 3 acts. I’m giving a 1 star rating purely for the rudeness of the lady at the door. Upon arrival she gave us our tickets for our food and said ‘go to the bar when your ready to order’ there was no where to sit to have food so we decided to wait until the comedians had finished. So we went to the bar gave our tickets to order at which point the bar man said the chef had gone home. We spoke to the lady who gave us our tickets at the bar and she didn’t give two hoots, she was extremely rude, and just said we should have ordered when comedians were on, but we reminded her at no point did anyone tell us that was the case; what she had said was ‘order when your ready’. Her reply was speak to the person who organised it, then she walked away! I would recommend the comedy club but would say do not have the food it’s not worth it!

Loved the show, wasn’t told about the bond we had to pay. Staff were unhelpful and we didn’t receive any food we were told to order it at the bar when we were ready, we did this at the end of the show to be told it was no longer available. Asked to speak to manager who was rude and unwilling to help. Drinks were very expensive.

Couldn’t fault the show thoroughly enjoyed didn’t stop laughing. Were given food tokens on entry and told to give them in at the bar when we were ready to eat- which we did at the end of the show only to be told that the chef had gone home... We were not told there was a time limit to get our food and bearing in mind there were only short intervals in between comedians and we would have had to eat it on our laps whilst the comedians were on! We were very disappointed especially when we spoke to the manager and her attitude was that it was basically our fault and to get in touch with who we booked it with as was nothing to do with her...Dissapointed...as up until then we.d had really good weekend!
