Nice venue, probably classier than the average Slug & Lettuce! Despite letting the venue know in advance that there would be 2 vegans attending, the venue hadn't really thought to cater for this until the day of the event. The waitress did, however, then go out of her way to provide a suitable menu for us. Cocktails were yummy and I would say this was good value for money.

Poor service and far too many sweets and not enough sandwiches! Half an hour before we were waited on and even longer for the food

Food delayed. No coke or lemonade which limited the cocktail selection a lot. Not much savoury selection.

I usually love slug and lettuce so was quite dissapointed. We waited nearly 40 minutes for someone to come and welcome us and order our drinks and then the food didn’t get to us until 1 hour after we arrived. Personal preference was that there should have been more variety and more off the savoury bits.
